Rural Municipality of Pembina

Pembina is a rural municipality in the province of Manitoba in Western Canada. It is located in the southern part of the province, along the border with the state of North Dakota in the United States. It had a population of 1,712 persons as of the 2006 Census, a decline from 1,769 persons reported in the 2001 Census. The village of Manitou lies geographically within the municipality, although it is administratively separate from it.

Darlingford, Manitoba

Darlingford is small village located about 15 km west of Morden, Manitoba in the Rural Municipality of Pembina in the Pembina Valley region of southern Manitoba, Canada. The postal code for Darlingford is R0G 0L0. Darlingford was founded by James Ephraim Law, builder of the first house in the town. The Law cairn was erected and is a tribute to the steadfast love of family and community that was inherent in the life of John Oliver and Sara Law.
