Licensed to Hubbard, the station broadcasts an contemporary christian music CCM format on 101.9 FM from the Educational Media Foundation 24-hour national feed. The station signed on as a result of a construction permit issued in January 31, 1992 by Columbus atty. Percey Squire and local broadcaster Mr. Frankie 'Lucky" Halfacre who was the first Africian-American DJ in the greater Youngstown area who got his start on WNIO-1540 in the 1960s.

The Ohio State Penitentiary is a 502-inmate capacity supermax Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction prison in Youngstown, Ohio. Throughout the last two centuries, there have been two institutions with the name Ohio Penitentiary or Ohio State Penitentiary; the first prison was in Columbus, Ohio. Level 5 inmates occupy cells that are 6½ × 11 feet and include a sink, toilet, desk, stool, and a slab of concrete with a thin mattress.

Lowellville is a village in Mahoning County, Ohio, United States, in the "Steel Valley" area of the northeast part of the state, southeast of Youngstown. The village is an older, predominantly Italian-American, working-class community built along the banks of the Mahoning River, and centered around the once productive Sharon Steel works. The population was 1,155 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman, OH-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area.
