Boardman is a census-designated place (CDP) in Boardman Township, Mahoning County, Ohio, United States, just south of Youngstown. Boardman is one of two major retail hubs in the greater Youngstown area. The population of the CDP was 35,376 at the 2010 census. Boardman is a principal city of the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman, OH-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area.

WKBN is an AM radio station in Youngstown, Ohio, USA broadcasting at 570 kHz with a talk radio format. The station also carries games for the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and Youngstown State Penguin football and basketball. WYFX-LD is the Fox-affiliated television station for the Mahoning Valley of Northeastern Ohio and Northwestern Pennsylvania. Licensed to Youngstown, Ohio, it broadcasts a standard definition digital signal on UHF channel 19 from a transmitter near the city's Pleasant Grove section. Owned by the LIN TV Corporation, WYFX is sister to CBS affiliate WKBN-TV and ABC affiliate WYTV. The latter, however, is actually owned by Vaughan Media and operated by LIN through a shared services agreement (SSA).
