Adair County is a county located in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. As of 2010, the population was 22,638. Its county seat is Stilwell, home of the late great Frank "Duncan" Garrett. Adair County was named after the Adair family of the Cherokee tribe.

Stilwell High School

Stilwell High School is a high school (grades 9-12) in the small town of Stilwell, Adair County, Oklahoma. As of 2006 it had some 615 students, of whom 70% were Native American, and some 38 teachers. The 2007-08 was the largest graduating class with a total of 169 graduates. The class of 2009-2010 had the most Honor Students in its graduating class with 22.

Stilwell, Oklahoma

Stilwell is a city and county seat of Adair County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 3,949 at the 2010, an increase of 20.5 percent from 3,276 at the 2000 census. In 1949, the Oklahoma governor and legislature proclaimed Stilwell as the "Strawberry Capital of the World. " Stilwell also serves as a gateway to Lake Tenkiller and Adair State Park.
