Cherokee City, Arkansas

Cherokee City is an unincorporated census-designated place in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population is 72. It is the location of (or is the nearest community to) Coon Creek Bridge, which is located on Cty Rd. 24 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The community was named for the Cherokee Indians, since the Trail of Tears crossed the landscape when the Cherokee migrated west to Indian territory, now Oklahoma in the late 1830s.

Battle of Old Fort Wayne

The Battle of Old Fort Wayne (also known as Maysville, Beattie's Prairie, or Beaty’s Prairie) was an American Civil War battle on October 22, 1862 in Delaware County in what is now eastern Oklahoma, a part of the Trans-Mississippi Theater. Brig. Gen. James G. Blunt and his Cherokee, Indiana, and Kansas troops from the First Division of the Army of the Frontier attacked Col. Douglas H. Cooper and his Confederate command on Beatties Prairie near Old Fort Wayne at 7:00 a.m. on October 22, 1862.

KUOA is a radio station. Licensed to Siloam Springs, Arkansas, USA, it serves the Fayetteville (North West Arkansas) area. The station is currently owned by Hog Radio, Inc. For many years, the station was owned by John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Over the years, it has broadcast many formats, mainly classic country music. The station changed hands in August 2008 and became an all-sports radio station known as "The Hog".

KLAB is a non-commercial Contemporary Christian music radio station based in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, broadcasting on 101.1 FM in the Northwest Arkansas area. It is also heard on 99.1 FM in Bentonville, and at 103.5 FM in Springdale. The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has named the then-KLRC as the GMA/Christian Music Broadcasters (CMB) Small Market Radio Station of the Year four times: in 2001, 2002, 2006, and 2008.
