Mount Hood Skibowl
Mount Hood Skibowl is a recreation area on Mount Hood located near Government Camp, Oregon. It is the largest night ski area in the United States, and the total skiable area encompasses an area of 960 acres (about two thirds of this is lit). The resort is the closest ski venue to Portland, with an elevation of 3,600 feet at the lodge, rising to just over 5,000 feet at the summit.

Inner tubing, tobogganing and other snow sports are on a maintained 20-foot to 30-foot hill of snow, popular with young children and families. It was established in 1952 as Mount Hood's first snow play area for children.

Mirror Lake (Clackamas County, Oregon)
Mirror Lake is a mountain lake in Clackamas County of the U.S. state of Oregon. It is located at the foot of Tom Dick and Harry Mountain in a natural catchment formed by a toe of the mountain, 11.4 kilometres southwest of Mount Hood, and 3.1 kilometres WSW of Government Camp within Mount Hood National Forest. It is among the most popular day hikes in the Mount Hood area, and a popular Nordic skiing destination. Its 800-foot elevation gain in 1.4 miles is considered an easy hike.

Trillium Lake
Trillium Lake is a lake situated 7.5 miles south-southwest of Mount Hood in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is formed by a dam at the headwaters of Mud Creek, tributary to the Salmon River. It was created by the state Department of Fish and Wildlife in 1960. The area which is now the lake was part of the Barlow Road, a component of the Oregon Trail. A log road across marshes allowed immigrants to pass to Summit Meadow, which was a toll station 1866—1870.

Timberline Lodge ski area
Timberline Lodge ski area is the ski and snowboarding area of Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark in the U. S state of Oregon. It is one of a few ski areas in the United States with most of the skiable terrain below the main lodge. It is located on the south face of Mount Hood, about 60 miles (95 km) east of Portland, accessible via the Mount Hood Scenic Byway.
