The Mosby Creek Bridge, also called the Layng Bridge, is a covered bridge that uses the Howe truss. It is located near Cottage Grove, Oregon. The bridge was constructed in 1920, making it the oldest covered bridge in Lane County, Oregon. The Mosby Creek Bridge was built in 1920 for a cost of $4125 (US$ in 2013) by Walter and Miller Sorenson. The bridge was named after the American pioneer David Mosby.

The Currin Bridge is a Howe truss covered bridge near Cottage Grove, Oregon, United States. It crosses the Row River. The Currin Bridge was built in 1925 to replace another bridge built in 1883. The lowest bid received by Lane County for construction of the bridge was $6,250, so the county decided to build the bridge on its own for $4,205, saving $2,495 of taxpayers' money. The bridge was named after a early pioneer family.

Cottage Grove State Airport
Cottage Grove State Airport or Jim Wright Field, is a public airport serving small general aviation aircraft, located one mile (1.6 km) east of the city of Cottage Grove in Lane County, Oregon, USA. On December 17, 2003 the airfield was named after Jim Wright, a local aviator and business man who painstakingly built a reproduction Hughes H-1 Racer. Wright perished in a tragic accident in the aircraft on August 4, 2003.
