Port Richmond, also referred to as simply Richmond, is a neighborhood in the River Wards section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is notable for its extremely large Polish immigrant and Polish American community. The neighborhood is also home to sizable Irish, German and Italian communities as represented in the various churches and organizations. In more recent years, a sizable Albanian community has moved in. The Richmond Zip Code is 19134.

William Cramp and Sons

William Cramp and Sons not to be confused with Cramp & Co. , builder of schools in Philadephia William Cramp & Sons Shipbuilding Company of Philadelphia was founded in 1825 by William Cramp, and was the preeminent U.S. iron shipbuilder of the late 19th century. The American Ship & Commerce Corporation bought the yard in 1919 but closed it in 1927 as fewer ships were ordered by the U.S. Navy after passage of the Naval Limitations Treaty in 1923.

Castor Gardens is a neighborhood in the lower Northeast section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Castor Gardens' borders are ill-defined, but it exists in the vicinity of Castor and Cottman Avenues. It is also near Roosevelt Boulevard. The neighborhood can either be entered from the south, by taking the Oxford Circle exit of Roosevelt Boulevard, or from the north, by taking the Cottman Avenue exit. Adjacent neighborhoods are Mayfair, Lawndale, Burholme, Oxford Circle, and Rhawnhurst.

Kensington, Philadelphia

Kensington is a neighborhood in the United States city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is between the Lower Northeast section of Philadelphia and North Philadelphia. Not to be confused with the former Kensington District, now commonly referred to as Fishtown, the area modernly referred to as "Kensington" is more of a section of smaller sub-neighborhoods than a clearly defined area. As such, there are disputes among locals as to the boundaries of the area.

Allegheny (SEPTA Market–Frankford Line station)

Allegheny Station is an elevated stop on the Market-Frankford Line, above the intersection of Kensington and Allegheny Avenues in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the Kensington neighborhood. As with the nearby Somerset and then Huntingdon Stations, Allegheny is located over a five-way intersection. Access to the station from street-level can be found at the southwest and northeast corners of Kensington Avenue and Allegheny Avenues.
