Interstate 99

Interstate 99 (I-99) is an intrastate Interstate Highway located in central Pennsylvania in the United States. The southern terminus of the route is at exit 146 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike north of Bedford, where the road continues south as U.S. Route 220 (US 220). The northern terminus is at I-80 near Bellefonte. I-99 passes through Altoona and State College–the latter home to Pennsylvania State University–and is entirely concurrent to US 220.

Patton Township is a township in Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the State College, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 15,311 at the 2010 census, which is a 34.1% increase from the 2000 censushttp://www. usatoday. com/news/nation/census/profile/PA. Patton Township was established in 1794 and named after Colonel John Patton, who co-owned the Centre Furnace, along with Colonel Samuel Miles.

The Penn State Golf Courses are two 18-hole courses located in State College, Pennsylvania, USA, operated by The Pennsylvania State University. The individual 18-hole courses are named after the school colors (blue and white). They, along with their practice facilities, are the home of the men's and women's golf team and all intramural golf activities of the university.

Mont Alto Arboretum

The Mont Alto Arboretum is an arboretum located on the Mont Alto campus of the Pennsylvania State University. The arboretum was established on Arbor Day in 1905, just two years after the founding of the Pennsylvania State Forestry Academy in Mont Alto. According to the college, on that day students searched for native tree species not present on campus, and brought back more than 400 specimens. These original plantings were then augmented by seeds from other trees native to the United States.
