Johannes Kelpius

Johannes Kelpius (1667–1708), a German Pietist, mystic, musician, and writer, interested in the occult, botany, and astronomy, came to believe with his followers in the "Society of the Woman in the Wilderness" that the end of the world would occur in 1694. Wissahickon Creek

Wissahickon Creek is a stream in southeastern Pennsylvania. Rising in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, it runs about 23 miles (37 km) passing through and dividing Northwest Philadelphia before emptying into the Schuylkill River at Philadelphia. Its watershed covers about 64 square miles . Much of the creek now runs through or next to parkland, with the last few miles running through a deep gorge.

East Falls, Philadelphia

East Falls is a neighborhood in the Northwest section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. East Falls is located adjacent to Roxborough, Manayunk, and Germantown, and Fairmount Park. The neighborhood runs along a stretch of Ridge Avenue that is only a few miles long, along the banks of the Schuylkill River then extends northeast to Wissahickon Avenue.

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine

The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) is one of the oldest and largest osteopathic medical schools in the United States. Founded in 1899, it is home to over 1800 medical students as well as graduate-level students in several other fields of health care. Wynnefield Heights, Philadelphia

Wynnefield Heights is a middle class neighborhood located in the greater West Philadelphia area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. This suburban neighborhood bordering on City Avenue is also known as Woodside Park or Balwynne Park. "Woodside Park" is the name of an amusement park that was constructed in 1897 by the Fairmount Park Transportation Company, and that continued in operation until 1955.
