It is a government funded school for high school students (grades 9-12). The school is the result of the merger between Choppee High School and Pleasant Hill High School and opened in 2000. Battle of Black Mingo
The Battle of Black Mingo was a skirmish during the American Revolution. It took place in September 1780 in the vicinity of Dollard's Tavern near Black Mingo Creek not far from Willtown, South Carolina.
