Travelers Rest, South Carolina

Travelers Rest is a small city in Greenville County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 4,099 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Greenville–Mauldin–Easley Metropolitan Statistical Area. "TR", as the city is known around the area, is just north of Greenville. The name "Travelers Rest" came from the fact that it is situated almost directly against the border with the North Carolina mountains.

Travelers Rest High School

Travelers Rest High School is a public high school in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. The school's mascot is the "Devildog.
