Columbia Place

Columbia Place is one of South Carolina's largest shopping malls, with nearly 1,100,000 square feet of retail space. The mall is located just off Interstate 20 and Interstate 77 on Two Notch Road in Columbia, South Carolina. Originally opened in 1977 as Columbia Mall, the mall opened originally with Belk, JCPenney, Rich's and Sears. Dillard's replaced Belk in 1995 and closed in late 2008. JCPenney left the mall for a new Lifestyle center ten miles (16 km) away in 2007.
