Branchville, South Carolina
Branchville is a town in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 1,024 at the 2010 census. When the train depot (now a museum) was in use, three presidents stopped by the depot: William H. Taft, William McKinley, and Teddy Roosevelt. Each year Branchville celebrates its railroad history by holding a Raylrode Daze festival, usually during the last full weekend in September. The first festival was held in 1969.
