Anderson Regional Airport is a public airport located 3 miles (5 km) southwest of the city of Anderson, in Anderson County, South Carolina. Anderson Regional Airport has been growing since it opened. In 2007 one runway was paved an extra 1,000 ft . Westside High School (South Carolina)

Westside High School is a high school located in Anderson, South Carolina. The school serves the west side of Anderson and is part of Anderson School District 5. Westside High School is administered by principal Henry 'Daddy' Adair. He took over Westside High as principal in 1983. This school is famous for being somewhat a maverick in the local system and uses the slogan "The Westside Way" and "It's a Matter of Pride" along with "Westside Is My Side".

Bleckley Inn

The Bleckley Inn is a small 14 room, historic hotel in downtown Anderson, South Carolina. The building was the first building in the area with multiple stories, and an elevator, making it historically significant to the area The Bleckley Inn was built in 1908, during one of the biggest economic booms that Anderson, South Carolina has ever seen. The location of the site for this building was known as Granite Row and it has recently been changed to Church Street.
