Warrenton Presbyterian Church (Abbeville, South Carolina)

Warrenton Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation located at 133 Watts Road near Abbeville in Abbeville County, South Carolina. The church was organized in 1884 by a group of Presbyterians meeting at the Warrenton High School. This group was officially constituted by Presbytery as a congregation on October 31, 1884, with 14 charter members. The first elders of the church were Mr. F. A. Wilson and Mr. George S. Wilson. The Reverend H. Curtis Fennel was the first minister.

Calhoun Falls is a town in Abbeville County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 2,004 at the 2010 census. The Calhoun Falls State Recreation Area is located nearby. Lake Richard B. Russell, which straddles the Georgia-South Carolina border, is approximately 3 mi west of Calhoun Falls. Calhoun Falls Charter School (or CFCS) a public 6-12 school located in Calhoun Falls, South Carolina, USA. It was founded in 2008. It is a combined middle and high school. CFCS was awarded a charter in 2008 and opened its doors in August of the same year. The school is autonomous, but operates under the South Carolina Charter School District.

Calhoun Falls High School

Calhoun Falls High School, the former name of a Calhoun Falls Charter School, is located in Calhoun Falls, South Carolina. Calhoun Falls High School was one of the smallest high schools in the state, with fewer than 200 students attending. It was scheduled to close at the end of the 2008 school year, and students would be sent to other county schools: Abbeville High School and Dixie High School. However, this plan was challenged by students and parents within the community.
