WLJT-DT is the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member station serving western and northwestern Tennessee on digital channel 47. Its studios are located on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin; its transmitter and tower are located in Lexington, Tennessee, its city of license. WLJT began operations on February 13, 1968. It was originally operated by the state board of education as a service to the schools of northwest Tennessee.

Generals Park

Generals Park is a 6,000 seat minor league baseball stadium located in Jackson, Tennessee, United States. It opened in 1998. Generals Park (formerly Pringles Park) was built by the municipal government of Jackson, Tennessee and is the home of the Jackson Generals of the Southern League. The Generals are the Class AA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The stadium is located east of downtown Jackson and is visible from Interstate 40.
