Walden Ridge (or Walden's Ridge) is a mountain ridge and escarpment located in Tennessee, in the United States. It marks the eastern edge of the Cumberland Plateau and is generally considered part of it. Walden Ridge is about 74 miles long, running generally north-south. Its highest point is at Hinch Mountain, which reaches 3,048 feet above sea level. Sequatchie Valley, a long valley in the Cumberland Plateau, is located just west of the southern part of Walden Ridge.

Rhea Springs, Tennessee

Rhea Springs was a community once located along the Piney River in Rhea County, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. Originally established in the 19th-century as a health resort, the community was inundated when the completion of Watts Bar Dam by the Tennessee Valley Authority flooded the lower Piney valley in 1942. Rhea Springs, known as "Sulphur Springs" before 1878, developed around a spring rumored to have "healing" qualities.
