Hickman County, Tennessee

Hickman County is a county located in the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of 2010, its population is 24,690. Its county seat is Centerville. It was named for Edwin Hickman, a pioneer settler and explorer who was killed by Indians in the area in 1791. Hickman County is part of the Nashville-Davidson–Murfreesboro–Franklin Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Piney River (Middle Tennessee)

The Piney River is a 23.7-mile-long tributary of the Duck River in Middle Tennessee in the United States. Via the Duck River, the Tennessee River, and the Ohio River, it is part of the Mississippi River watershed.
