Wears Valley, Tennessee

Wears Valley (sometimes spelled Wear Valley) is an unincorporated area in Sevier County, Tennessee, treated by the U.S. Census Bureau as a census county division. As of the 2010 Census, the population of Wears Valley was 7,486. Wears Valley is situated in a valley known as Wear Cove, which runs parallel to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Like other park border communities, the history and economy of the valley are intertwined with that of the Smokies.

Chasing Rainbows Museum

Chasing Rainbows is a museum based on the country music singer Dolly Parton. It is located in the Dollywood theme park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, USA. Chasing Rainbows opened in 2002 as a part of the "Adventures in Imagination" area of the Dollywood park. The building was originally built in 1996 and opened as the Silver Screen Cafe and was converted to DJ Platters in 1997. Chasing Rainbows is the second museum for Dolly at Dollywood.

Thunderhead (roller coaster)

Thunderhead is a wooden roller coaster located at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The coaster, which was the anchor attraction of the new "Thunderhead Gap" section, opened on April 3, 2004, to much critical acclaim. Thunderhead boasts 22 turns and 32 crossovers http://database. thrillnetwork. com/ride_view. php/1647/thunderhead. html, and utilizes GCI's Millennium Flyer trains, used on all GCI coasters since 1999. Thunderhead is also the first roller coaster to feature a station flyby.

Blazing Fury

Blazing Fury is a steel enclosed roller coaster at the Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The ride was built in-house by Silver Dollar City Tennessee in 1978, prior to the park becoming Dollywood. The coaster was based upon Fire in the Hole, a similar indoor roller coaster at the original Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. Blazing Fury is themed around the story of an old mountain town set on fire by a group of Russians.
