Tipton County is a county located on the western end of the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of 2000, the population was 51,271. Its county seat is Covington. Tipton County is part of the Memphis, TN–MS–AR Metropolitan Statistical Area, centered on Shelby County, which borders Tipton on the south.

Kerrville, Tennessee

Kerrville is an unincorporated area located in the northern portion of Shelby County, Tennessee. It is located along about 3.5 miles to the north of Millington and just to the south of the Tipton County line, along with Atoka and Munford city limits. According to the Shelby County Register of Deeds website, Kerrville was laid out around 1873 along the Paducah and Memphis Railroad. The 44 acre parcel of land was donated in 1874 by a Dr. A.H.
