Cookeville High School in Cookeville, in Putnam County, USA, is the largest non-metropolitan school in the state and along with Memphis, Metro Nashville or Tri-Cities, Tennessee, and is one of eight schools in the state to offer the International Baccalaureate program. They are also the only high school in the county to have an Army JROTC program. The school offers sports programs and a state-ranked academic team.

Bush Stadium at Averitt Express Baseball Complex

Howell Bush Stadium at Averitt Express Baseball Complex is a baseball venue in Cookeville, Tennessee, United States. It is home to the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles baseball team of the NCAA Division I Ohio Valley Conference. It has a capacity of 1,100 spectators. It is named for former Tennessee Tech baseball and basketball player Howell Bush, whose 1997 donation allowed stadium lighting to be added to the facility. In the same year, the stadium was dedicated to him.

Tucker Stadium

Tucker Stadium, named for former head coach, Wilburn Tucker (1920–1980), is a 16,500-seat multi-purpose stadium in Cookeville, Tennessee. It is home to the Tennessee Technological University Golden Eagles football team. In 2009, Tucker Stadium became home to the BlueCross Bowl, the state championship football games for the TSSAA.

Tennessee Technological University

Tennessee Technological University, popularly known as Tennessee Tech, is an accredited public university located in Cookeville, Tennessee, US, a city approximately seventy miles (110 km) east of Nashville. It was formerly known as Tennessee Polytechnic Institute (1915), and before that as Dixie College, the name under which it was founded as a private institution in 1909.
