Tims Ford Lake is a reservoir run by the Tennessee Valley Authority in southern middle Tennessee. The town dates from the early 20th century and is one of the southernmost communities in the state, lying almost on the Alabama border. One of Franklin County's two high schools is there. The graduating class of 2011 consisted of less than 50 students.
