West, Texas
West is a city in McLennan County, Texas. The population was 2,674 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Waco Metropolitan Statistical Area. Despite its name, West is located in the north-central part of Texas, 19.3 miles north of Waco. Also, most of the city is located on the east side of Interstate 35. The town was named for its first postmaster, T. M. West.

Czech Stop and Little Czech Bakery
The Czech Stop and Little Czech Bakery is located at 105 N. College Sreet in the city of West, Texas. Established in 1983, the Czech Stop serves traditional Czech cuisine such as kolache, klobasnek and strudels. It is a combination of a deli and a bakery and serves around 600 people a day.
