Huntsville is a city in and the county seat of Walker County, Texas, United States. The population is 38,548 as of the 2010 census. It is the center of the Huntsville micropolitan area. KSHU

KSHU and KSHU-TV are student-run non-commercial college radio and student television station operations located at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Broadcast and transmitter facilities are located within the Dan Rather Communication Building. Neither entity is affiliated with any network, and both KSHU-FM and KSHU-TV (cable channel 7) are managed and operated by the students enrolled in the School of Mass Communication.

Bernard Johnson Coliseum

Bernard Johnson Coliseum is a 6,110-seat multi-purpose arena in Huntsville, Texas. It was built in 1976 and is home to the Sam Houston State University Bearkats basketball team.
