Texas Triangle

The Texas Triangle is one of eleven so-called megaregions in the United States. These are urban areas that are much greater in scale than just a metropolitan statistical area (MSA), defined by the US Census Bureau. These regions also are known as megapolitan areas. The term comes from the fact that the three main cities in the Texas Triangle are connected by a highway system Interstate 45, Interstate 10, and Interstate 35 that forms up a triangle when connected.

Caldwell, Texas

Caldwell is a city in Burleson County, Texas, United States. The population was 3,896 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Burleson County. It is part of the Bryan-College Station metropolitan area. In 1993, the Reeves-Womack House in Caldwell was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The house was built in the latter 1890s by the merchant-banker William Reeves (1858–1921).

Milano, Texas

Milano is a city in Milam County, Texas, United States, located at the intersection of U.S. Route 79 and State Highway 36, twelve miles southeast of Cameron, the county seat. Its population was 400 at the time of the 2000 census, and, in July 2005, it was estimated at 421. On November 5, 1960, Country music singer Johnny Horton was killed by a drunk driver on Highway 79 near Milano on his way home from a performance at the Skyline Club in Austin, Texas.
