Meadow Lake (Texas)
Meadow Lake is a reservoir on the Guadalupe River south of the town of Seguin in Guadalupe County, Texas. The reservoir was formed in 1931 by the construction of a dam to provide hydroelectric power to the area. Management of the dam and lake was assumed by the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority on May 1, 1963. Meadow Lake also serves as a venue for outdoor recreation, including fishing and boating. Meadow Lake is also known locally as Lake Nolte.

KWED is a radio station broadcasting a Country music format, licensed to Seguin, Texas. It is currently owned by Seguin Media Group, Ltd. and features programing from CNN Radio, Premiere Radio Networks and Westwood One. Until 1987, KWED was simulcasted on 105.3 FM. After that it became AM only. KWED-FM changed call letters to KSMG and format then billed as Magic 105.3 as the first FM oldies format in San Antonio.
