Chilton, Texas

Chilton is an unincorporated community in Falls County, Texas, United States. It had a population of 911 at the 2010 census. The Chilton Independent School District offers extra-curricular activities, most notably football, which is played in the stadium at Featherston Field. In 2006, Chilton won its second 1A state football championship.

Tomlinson Hill, Texas

Tomlinson Hill is a small unincorporated community in Falls County, Texas, United States. It lies approximately 7½ miles west of Marlin on State Highway 320 and approximately 1½ miles west-southwest of the junction of 320 and State Highway 7. The Hill (as it is locally known) was named for James K. Tomlinson, a native of Georgia who settled in the area. After emancipation, many of Tomlinson's former slaves took his last name.

Mooreville, Texas

Mooreville is an unincorporated community in Falls County, Texas. It is located just off of Highway 7 four miles northwest of Chilton on Farm Road 2643. Never being established, Mooreville posted a population of about 95 in 2000 after peaking at 180 in the late 19th century. The post office was discontinued in 1906 and the school consolidated with Chilton in 1950.
