Victor Braunig Lake

Victor Braunig Lake, formerly known as East Lake, is a reservoir on Calaveras Creek and Chupaderas Creek 17 miles (27 kilometers) south of Downtown San Antonio, Texas, USA. The reservoir was formed in 1962 by the construction of a dam to provide a cooling pond for a power plant to supply additional electrical supply to the city of San Antonio. The dam and lake are managed by CPS Energy of San Antonio.

Elmendorf, Texas

Elmendorf is a city in Bexar County, Texas, United States. It is part of the San Antonio—New Braunfels Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,488 at the 2010 census. Elmendorf is located seventeen miles southeast of Downtown San Antonio at the juncture of Farm Road 327 and the Southern Pacific Railroad. It was founded in 1885 and named after Henry Elmendorf, a former mayor of San Antonio. For a long time, the biggest employer was Star Clay Products.

Pleasanton, Texas

Pleasanton is a city in Atascosa County, Texas, United States. The population was 8,934 at the 2010 census. Pleasanton's official motto is "The City of Live Oaks and Friendly Folks. " It is part of the San Antonio-New Braunfels Metropolitan Statistical Area.
