Royse City High School is a 4A high school located in Royse City, Texas. It is part of the Royse City Independent School District located in southwestern Hunt County. The school is located a mile east of the Rockwall-Hunt county line. Students attend from Collin, Hunt and Rockwall counties. In 2011, the school was rated "Academically Acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.

The 2010 National Census data identified the City of Fate as the fastest growing city in the state of Texas for the past decade, and one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. Based on building permits and current utility bills, the City's population is now estimated to be 8,800 as of August, 2012.

Nevada, Texas

Nevada is a city in Collin County, Texas, United States. The population was 822 at the 2010 census. First settled in 1835 by John McMinn Stambaugh and named McMinn Chapel, the area was settled by Granville Stinebaugh, who named it after Nevada Territory (the local pronunciation, though, has the second syllable as "vay"). Nevada enjoyed some prosperity after becoming a stop on the St. Louis Southwestern Railway, and the town incorporated in 1889.
