Forney High School is a public secondary school located in Forney, Texas, United States and is one of two high schools in the Forney Independent School District which serves Forney, Talty, the small Kaufman County portion of Mesquite, and some surrounding unincorporated areas of Kaufman County. Because of immense growth over the past years, a bond was approved to begin construction of a second high school in May 2007. US Hwy 80 serves as the boundary between the two high schools.

North Forney High School
North Forney High School (NFHS) is a 4A public high school located in Forney, Texas and is one of two high schools in the Forney Independent School District. The school houses only freshmen and sophomores the first year open. The juniors will be the first graduating class. The high school will eventually house all four classes. Varsity competition began during the 2010-11 school year. In 2011, the school was rated "Recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.
