American Airpower Heritage Museum

The American Airpower Heritage Museum (AAHM) d.b.a. CAF Airpower Museum, is adjacent to the Commemorative Air Force (CAF, which in older days stood for "Confederate Air Force") Headquarters in Midland, Texas. The museum opened in its first building in Mercedes, Texas in 1965 as a location to house and display World War II artifacts as they began to be donated to the CAF. Both the CAF and AAHM moved to Harlingen, Texas in 1968.

Presidential Museum and Leadership Library

The Presidential Museum and Leadership Library is a museum and library complex located in Odessa, Texas, on the campus of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Unlike the many presidential libraries, the museum is dedicated to the office of the President of the United States, rather than any individual who has held the nation's highest office. The museum-library was originally located in downtown Odessa, but under legislation authored in 1999 by the late State Representative George E.

Stonehenge replica (Odessa, Texas)

The Stonehenge replica is located on the campus of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa in Ector County, Texas. About 20 stone blocks, similar in size, shape, and appearance to the ancient Stonehenge in southwestern England, were unveiled in the summer of 2004. The replica matches the original Stonehenge horizontally, but it falls some 14% short in height from the English monument.
