Greenvine, Texas

Greenvine in an unincorporated community in southwestern Washington County, Texas, United States, about five miles southwest of Burton. In the late nineteenth century, the population peaked around 300, mostly consisting of German immigrants. Greenvine is home to two churches, Greenvine Emmanuel Lutheran Church (ELCA) http://www. greenvinelutheran. com and Greenvine Baptist Church. It also has a popular local watering hole, called the Green Door, and a transmission repair shop.
