Hyde Park is a town in and the shire town of Lamoille County, Vermont, United States. The town was named for Captain Jedediah Hyde, a landowner. The population was 2,847 at the 2000 census. There is also a village within the town by the same name.

Morrisville, Vermont

Morrisville is a village in Morristown, Lamoille County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2000 census, the village population was 2,009. Morrisville has 2 country clubs, a hospital, a school featuring Greek architecture and an airport. The hospital and one of the country clubs are named after Alexander Copley, a philanthropist who donated much of the money for their construction.

Lake Elmore

Lake Elmore is a 219-acre lake located in and named after Elmore, Vermont. The lake is located northwest of Elmore, and it drains into the Lamoille River through Elmore Pond Brook at the northern end. Recently, the lake has had a problem with milfoil, and there are several fundraisers every year to help the Milfoil Foundation, which then uses the money to pay for the milfoil's extraction.

Lamoille River

The Lamoille River is a river which runs through northern Vermont and drains into Lake Champlain. It is about 85 miles in length, and has a drainage area of around 706 square miles . The river generally flows southwest, and then northwest, from the water divide of the Green Mountains, and is the namesake of Lamoille County, Vermont. The river's valley also gave its name to the now-defunct Lamoille Valley Railroad Company, successor to the St. Johnsbury and Lamoille County Railroad.

WGDH is a non-commercial educational American radio station that serves the community of Hardwick, Vermont, United States. The station, launched in 2011, is owned by Goddard College and the broadcast license is held by the Goddard College Corporation.
