Province Island

Province Island (French: Île de la Province) is an island mostly in the Canadian province of Québec, but partly in the American state of Vermont. It is situated in Lake Memphremagog. The total island's area is 0.31 km². Although 0.028 km² at its southern point is part of the USA, the predominant part belongs to the city of Magog (known as Mem-Toag by the Native North Americans), in Memphrémagog Regional County Municipality, Quebec.

WIKE is a radio station located in Newport, Vermont. It currently broadcasts a country music format at 1 kw 24 hours a day. It is owned by Jeffrey Shapiro's Vertical Capital Partners, LP. WIKE, along with 29 other Nassau stations in northern New England, was purchased at bankruptcy auction by Carlisle Capital Corporation, a company controlled by Bill Binnie, on May 22, 2012.

Missisquoi River

The Missisquoi River is a tributary of Lake Champlain, approximately 80 mi (130 km) long, in northern Vermont in the United States and southern Quebec in Canada. It drains a rural area of the northern Green Mountains along the US-Canada border northeast of Lake Champlain, and an area of Quebec's Eastern Townships. The South Branch rises in Vermont and runs generally from southeast to northwest; the North Branch rises in Lake Eastman, Quebec, and runs from north to south.
