Jonesville is an unincorporated community in the town of Richmond in Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. The community is situated at the junction of the Winooski and Huntington rivers in the western slopes of the Green Mountains. A significant portion of Jonesville is fertile farmland. Chittenden Vermont Senate District, 2002–2012
The Chittenden Senate District is one of 13 Vermont Senate districts included in the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Chittenden District includes all of Chittenden County except the town of Colchester (which is in the Grand Isle district).

Lake Iroquois (Vermont)
Lake Iroquois is a 229-acre reservoir in northwestern Vermont, bordered by three towns: Hinesburg, Williston, and Richmond. Lake Iroquois (formerly known as Hinesburg pond) was created in 1867 to supply mills in Hinesburg with a better water supply. Building a dam on Pond Brook caused the existing spring-fed pond to rise above its banks and become the current lake. The towns share a beach on the lake, plus there is a public boat access.
