Freedom High School, also known as Freedom-South Riding, is a public secondary school located in South Riding, an unincorporated community in Loudoun County, Virginia, United States. The school was established in 2005, in the community of South Riding located off of U.S. Route 50 just over the Fairfax County border in the Loudoun County side of Chantilly. The school's campus is 25 miles west of Washington, D.C..

Disney's America

Disney's America was a planned theme park that was to have been built by The Walt Disney Company in Haymarket, Virginia in the early 1990s. The park was to have been dedicated to the history of the United States; however, amid opposition from citizen's groups, the project was canceled in 1994. The concept was revived in 1997 as a potential re-theming of Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, when the Knott family offered its amusement park for sale.

Battle of Middleburg

The Battle of Middleburg took place from June 17 to June 19, 1863, in Loudoun County, Virginia, as part of the Gettysburg Campaign of the American Civil War. Confederate Maj. Gen. J.E.B. Stuart, screening Robert E. Lee's invasion route, sparred with Maj. Gen. Alfred Pleasonton's Union cavalry. On June 17, Col. Alfred N. Duffié's isolated 1st Rhode Island Cavalry Regiment was attacked by the brigades of Thomas T. Munford and Beverly Robertson.
