Three Sisters (District of Columbia)
The Three Sisters are three rocky islands in the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. , west of the Key Bridge. The islets are less well known as the Three Sisters Islands and Three Sisters Island. A notable landmark in colonial times, bridges have been proposed for the Three Sisters several times. The most recent proposal, the Three Sisters Bridge was made in the late 1950s. It led to a decade of protests, after which the bridge was cancelled yet again.

Court House (WMATA station)
Court House is an island platformed Washington Metro station in the Courthouse neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia, United States. The station was opened on December 1, 1979, and is operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Weekday ridership is approximately 14,000 passengers per day. The station presently serves only the Orange Line, but is also planned to be on the Silver Line, which is scheduled to start operations in 2013.
