Shenandoah Caverns

Shenandoah Caverns is a commercial show cave in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The word Shenandoah has an uncertain Native American origin and meaning. One meaning is said to be "daughter of the stars". Another legend states that the name is derived from the name of an Iroquoian, Chief Sherando of the seventeenth century; and this was reportedly also the name of his people.

Sacred Heart Cathedral (Raleigh, North Carolina)

Sacred Heart Cathedral, sometimes referred to as Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh. As of 2012 the bishop seated at the cathedral was Michael Francis Burbidge. In 1924 North Carolina was the only state in the United States of America without its own Catholic diocese. Sacred Heart Cathedral is the smallest Roman Catholic cathedral in the continental United States.
