Stronghold, Washington, D.C

Stronghold is the name of a neighborhood in Northeast Washington, D.C. It is also called Metropolis View after the estate that originally occupied its area in the 1830s. There are two different boundaries. A Washington Post article about the neighborhood said it is between Glenwood Cemetery on the east, Michigan Avenue to the north, North Capitol Street to the west and Bryant Street to the south, a total of 7 square blocks.

The Washington Theological Consortium is an ecumenical organization with its regular membership composed of Christian theological schools located in or near the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area that cooperate and share resources. The Dominican House of Studies, officially the Priory of the Immaculate Conception, is a community of the Province of St. Joseph of the Order of Preachers dedicated to the theological education of the friars of the Province who are preparing for the Catholic priesthood. It houses: The Priory of the Immaculate Conception. The Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception (PFIC), an Ecclesiastical, and therefore Pontifical, Faculty of theology.
