University Heights is a neighborhood adjacent to The Catholic University of America in Northeast Washington, D.C.. It is located east of the University and west of the Franciscan Monastery, bounded by the tracks for the Red Line of the Washington Metro to the west; 14th Street NE to the east; Taylor Street to the north; and Otis Street to the south.

Columbus School of Law

The Columbus School of Law, also known as CUA Law, is the law school of The Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C. Over 600 Juris Doctor students attend CUA Law. Incoming classes are typically composed of about 150 hundred students, including day and night programs. Around 2,600 students apply annually. Half of the law school's 11,000 alumni practice in the greater Washington, D.C. area.

North Michigan Park

North Michigan Park is a neighborhood in Northeast Washington, D.C.. It is bordered by Gallatin Street NE to the north, South Dakota Avenue to the to west, Michigan Avenue to the south, and Eastern Avenue to the east. The adjacent neighborhood (to the southwest), across South Dakota Avenue, is called Michigan Park. Although both neighborhoods are part of the same Advisory Neighborhood Commission, they are two separate neighborhoods.

Maloney Hall

The Martin Maloney Chemical Laboratory of The Catholic University of America was built in November, 1917. Maloney Hall was named for Martin Maloney, a papal marquis from Philadelphia, Pa. , who gave $120,000 for main building and $100,000 for the auditorium. It underwent renovations and extensions in 1926. Currently, the building is being used as a Chemical Laboratory for the University. It houses the Department of Chemistry, classrooms, laboratories and an auditorium.

Brookland–CUA (WMATA station)

Brookland–CUA is a Washington Metro station in Washington, D.C. , on the Red Line. It is located in Northeast at Monroe & 9th Street near Michigan Avenue, and serves the Brookland neighborhood of Northeast Washington and The Catholic University of America. Service began on February 3, 1978.
