Bishop Blanchet High School

Bishop Blanchet High School is a coed Catholic high school located just north of Green Lake in Seattle, Washington, United States. The school was founded in 1954 by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle, and named for the first bishop of the diocese, A.M.A. Blanchet (1797-1887). Originally named Blanchet High School, in 1999 the title Bishop was added to make the school easily identified as Catholic. According to school records, Bishop Blanchet has 1,050 students, 79% of whom are Catholic.

Green Lake is a neighborhood in north central Seattle, Washington, USA. Its centerpiece is the lake and park after which it is named. Its generally accepted boundaries are Interstate 5 to the east, beyond which lie Roosevelt and Maple Leaf; N 85th Street to the north, beyond which lies the neighborhood North College Park/Licton Springs; Aurora Avenue N to the west, beyond which lies Phinney Ridge, and N 50th Street and Woodland Park to the south, beyond which lies Wallingford.

Green Lake is a freshwater lake in north central Seattle, Washington, within Green Lake Park. The park is surrounded by the Green Lake neighborhood to the north and east, the Wallingford neighborhood to the south, the Phinney Ridge neighborhood to the west, and Woodland Park to the southwest. It is a glacial lake, its basin having been dug 50,000 years ago by the Vashon glacier, which also created Lake Washington, Union, Bitter and Haller Lakes.

North Seattle Community College

North Seattle Community College (NSCC) is a two-year community college in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the three colleges comprising the Seattle Community College District, and one of the 32 member colleges of the Washington Community and Technical Colleges system.
