Kentwood High School (Washington)

Kentwood High School is a high school in Covington, Washington. Kentwood is one of four high schools in the Kent School District. It serves students in grades nine through twelve who live in mainly in the east central region of the district. Its main feeder schools are Mattson and Meridian Middle Schools. Kentwood is one of Washington state's largest high schools; it's enrollment of more than 2,000 students even exceeds the enrollment of most other 4A high schools there.

Lake Wilderness Arboretum

Lake Wilderness Arboretum (40 acres), known for a time as the South King County Arboretum, is an arboretum located in Maple Valley, Washington. It is open daily without charge. The Lake Wilderness Arboretum is managed by the South King County Arboretum Foundation. The arboretum was first established as a nonprofit organization in 1965, with its initial design completed and implemented in 1970. The Western Azalea Garden was dedicated in June 2000.

Lake Wilderness

Lake Wilderness is the largest lake in Maple Valley, Washington, United States. The Lake Wilderness Lodge, a former resort hotel, is now a King County landmark, and its grounds are a park. Lake Wilderness is surrounded by houses, forest, and a park. The park is open and free of charge, containing a play ground and baseball field, including a tennis court, also. Every year on Maple Valley Days in June, celebrations are held in the park and the parking lot is occupied by temporary carnival rides.
