Interurban Trail (King County)

The Interurban Trail is a rail trail in King and Pierce counties, Washington. It is a partially paved 14-mile recreational trail open for non-motorized use. It connects Tukwila to Pacific, and the towns of Kent, Auburn, and Algona along the way. Additionally, the Cities of Edgewood and Milton have completed and opened paved segments of the Interurban trail that are not yet connected to the main segment from Tukwila to Pacific, and the City of Fife has a short segment now under construction.

Westfield Southcenter

Westfield Southcenter, formerly known as Southcenter Mall, is a shopping mall located in Tukwila, Washington, USA. It is currently anchored by JC Penney, Macy's, Nordstrom, and Sears and owned by the Westfield Group. A Rainforest Cafe is also at the mall. It is the largest shopping center in Washington and the Pacific Northwest.

Longacres (racetrack)

Longacres was a racetrack in Renton, Washington from 1933-92. It was the home of thoroughbred racing in western Washington and was the longest continually operated track on the West Coast. Longacres was the first racetrack on the coast based on parimutuel betting. The land was sold to the Boeing Company and the track closed in September 1992. The racetrack was also temporarily used as a prison camp during the japanese inernment of World War II.
