Tanglewood Island
Tanglewood Island is a small island in Hale Passage off the northern shore of Fox Island in Pierce County, Washington. The island was a summer home of Conrad L. Hoska (1856–1910), a prominent figure in the nearby city of Tacoma. From 1945 it hosted a boys' camp, and in the following year the lighthouse structure (pictured) was completed. The Geographic Names Information System lists several alternative names: Ellens Isle, Grant Island, Grave Island, and Hoska Island.

Carr Inlet
Carr Inlet, in southern Puget Sound in the U.S. state of Washington, is an arm of water between Key Peninsula and Gig Harbor Peninsula. Its southern end is connected to the southern basin of Puget Sound. Northward, it separates McNeil Island and Fox Island as well as the peninsulas of Key and Gig Harbor. The northern end of Carr Inlet is named Henderson Bay. Carr Inlet was named by Charles Wilkes during the Wilkes Expedition of 1838-1842, to honor Overton Carr, one of the expedition's officers.

Kopachuck State Park
Kopachuck State Park, situated on Henderson Bay in Puget Sound, is a 109-acre marine and day use park with over a mile of saltwater shoreline. The park also includes Cutts Island also known locally as "Deadman's Island". The island is about half mile from shore and reachable only by boat. The park provides sweeping views of sunsets, the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound.
