White Grass Ski Touring Center

White Grass Ski Touring Center is a cross-country skiing facility located in Canaan Valley in Tucker County, West Virginia. It originally opened in 1979 on White Grass Knob near Harrisonburg, Virginia. Two years later, the operation was moved to the site of the second Weiss Knob Ski Area. The resort uses Weiss Knob's former lodge as its day lodge; it is one of the oldest dedicated cross country ski areas in the United States.

Seneca Rocks

Seneca Rocks is a large crag and local landmark in Pendleton County in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, USA. It is the only "true peak" (a peak inaccessible except by technical rock climbing techniques) on the East Coast of the United States. One of the best-known scenic attractions in West Virginia, the sheer rock faces are a popular challenge for rock climbers. Mill Creek (North Fork South Branch Potomac River)

Mill Creek is a 5.3-mile-long tributary stream of the North Fork South Branch Potomac River in Pendleton County, West Virginia. Mill Creek rises on the western flanks of North Fork Mountain (3412 feet/1040 m) and from there, flows north through Germany Valley. Its confluence with the North Fork lies at Hinkle Gap between Germany and Harman Knobs.
