New Matamoras Elementary/Junior High- Newport Elementary/Junior High are all lower grade schools within the Frontier Local School District. Frontier Local is located along the Ohio River just off of Route 7 between New Matamoras and Newport Ohio. It is the only high school in the Frontier Local School district.
