Elkins Coal and Coke Company Historic District

Elkins Coal and Coke Company Historic District consists of 140 beehive ovens that were the last operating coke ovens in the United States. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1983. It is located about 1/2 mile southwest of Masontown, West Virginia and 1/4 mile west of West Virginia Route 7.
