Big Manitou Falls

Big Manitou Falls is a waterfall situated on the Black River, a tributary of the Nemadji River. The falls are located within Pattison State Park in Douglas County, Wisconsin, approximately 13 miles south of Superior. At 165 feet, Big Manitou falls is the highest waterfall in Wisconsin. The Native Americans, who originally settled in the area around the falls, believed they heard the voice of the Great Spirit within the roaring of the falls and gave it the name "Gitchee Manitou".

Patzau, Wisconsin

Patzau is an unincorporated community, in Douglas County, in the town of Summit, in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. County Road B serves as a main arterial route in the community. Wisconsin Highway 35 is nearby. Patzau is located southwest of the city of Superior.

WDSM

WDSM is a talk radio station in Duluth, Minnesota,. WDSM was created in 1938 as an affiliate of the Mutual Broadcasting System. The requested call letters were W Duluth Superior Mutual. WDSM provided Mutual programming throughout the Iron Range of Norther Minnesota as well as the Duluth-Superior market. WDSM switched network affiliations with NBC powerhouse WEBC in 1955.
