WDSM is a talk radio station in Duluth, Minnesota,. WDSM was created in 1938 as an affiliate of the Mutual Broadcasting System. The requested call letters were W Duluth Superior Mutual. WDSM provided Mutual programming throughout the Iron Range of Norther Minnesota as well as the Duluth-Superior market. WDSM switched network affiliations with NBC powerhouse WEBC in 1955.

Big Manitou Falls

Big Manitou Falls is a waterfall situated on the Black River, a tributary of the Nemadji River. The falls are located within Pattison State Park in Douglas County, Wisconsin, approximately 13 miles south of Superior. At 165 feet, Big Manitou falls is the highest waterfall in Wisconsin. The Native Americans, who originally settled in the area around the falls, believed they heard the voice of the Great Spirit within the roaring of the falls and gave it the name "Gitchee Manitou".

Oliver Bridge

The Oliver Bridge was constructed across the St. Louis River in 1916 by the Interstate Transfer Railway Company, a Wisconsin corporation, under special federal authorization from the 60th United States Congress (Session I, Chapter 31, February 20, 1908). It connects Gary - New Duluth, part of the City of Duluth, Minnesota with Oliver, Wisconsin across the St. Louis River. The bridge is 1,900 feet long and is principally of steel truss construction.
